the specialist
Internationally recognised as one of Sydney's most respected aesthetic dentists, Dr Angelo Lazaris has spent three decades perfecting the craft of porcelain veneers at his boutique Darlinghurst practice. Patients from across the world make the journey to have him work his craft — designing smiles that look entirely natural, because they are built around each patient's unique anatomy.
His Masters in Aesthetic Dentistry and his commitment to biomimetic principles mean every veneer case is treated as an individual artistic commission — not a production-line result.
"I'm not the star of the show. My patients are. You're only going to get one shot at this. So choose wisely."
your journey
Dr Lazaris evaluates your teeth and smile goals, discussing what can be achieved with composite bonding. For cases involving multiple teeth, a digital smile design is produced so you can preview the outcome before treatment begins.
Using a rubber dam to ensure optimal bonding conditions — a step most practices skip — Dr Lazaris applies and sculpts nano-composite resin directly to your teeth. Each layer is individually shaped and light-cured. The result is seamless, natural, and ready the same day.
The completed bonding is polished to a natural lustre and checked against the original design. Dr Lazaris reviews the occlusion, shape, and shade before you leave — nothing leaves this practice without meeting his standard.
why this practice
Composite bonding is additive. In most cases no tooth structure is removed at all. It is the most conservative aesthetic dental procedure available.
Dr Lazaris uses a rubber dam to isolate teeth during all composite bonding procedures. This ensures maximum adhesion and long-term durability. If a practice is not using rubber dam for composite restorations, it is not being done correctly.
The optical and physical properties of today's nano-composite resins closely mimic natural enamel and dentine. The result is indistinguishable from natural tooth structure under both natural and artificial light.
Most composite bonding cases are completed in a single appointment. You leave with a transformed smile the same day — no temporaries, no waiting for a laboratory.
Dr Lazaris sees every patient himself. You will never be handed off to an associate. This is a practice built around precision and care, not volume.
