Using Invisalign's digital treatment software, a full simulation of your tooth movements is modelled from start to finish. You will see the predicted outcome before a single aligner is fabricated, and you will have a clear understanding of the treatment timeline.
Your personalised series of aligners is precision-fabricated by Invisalign's laboratory. Each aligner moves your teeth incrementally — typically by fractions of a millimetre per set. The aligners are virtually invisible when worn and are removed for eating and oral hygiene. Dr Lazaris will fit your first set of aligners and answer any questions before you leave.
You progress through your aligner series, changing to the next set every 1–2 weeks as prescribed. Regular check-ups with Dr Lazaris ensure treatment is tracking as planned and allow for any refinements. At the end of active treatment, a retainer is fitted to preserve your result — this is non-negotiable and is built into your treatment from the start.
